IIUI mission is to transform the society by promoting education, training, research, technology, and collaboration for reconstruction of human thought in all its forms on the foundations of Islam.
The Journal of Contemporary Poetics, housed in the International Islamic University in Islamabad, is a biannual, open access peer-reviewed journal. Focused on Literature, Linguistics & ELT, it solicits papers that are global and interdisciplinary in scope. It brings together perspectives on a diverse array of issues through well-research papers that engage with pressing contemporary issues that are framing recent debates in the Humanities. We do not seek an application of theory but an engagement with multiple cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary philosophical paradigms that are shaping the contemporary debates in Literature, Linguistics and ELT.
