64TH MEETING OF IIUI’S ACADEMIC COUNCIL HELD

International Islamic University, Islamabad’s (IIUI) Academic Council met here at new campus of the university under the chairmanship of President IIUI, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh.

The 64^th meeting of Academic Council was also attended by Vice Presidents, Director Academics Deans and HoDs. The meeting reviewed various important topics such as proposals for departments, issuance of degrees, schemes of studies of various disciplines, up-gradation of departments and recommendations put by the faculties.

Dr. Al-Draiweesh urged the participants to make academic excellence a top priority. He said that IIUI is  a unique hub of learning and it has vital responsibility of nurturing Muslim youth according to the prevailing challenges in the light of Islamic teachings and keeping this fact in view all the concerned must keep working for further improvement in the standards of teaching, research and curriculum.
