IIUI PRESIDENT HOLDS RECEPTION IN HONOR OF BELARUS’ ACADEMICS DELEGATION

tentPresident International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh hosted a reception in honor of Belarus’ delegation of academics at the Arabic tent, Faisal Masjid campus of the university.

The nine-member delegation, comprising vice-chancellors of different universities of Belarus, was led by Vadim Bogush, first deputy of education ministry of Belarus.

On the occasion, issues of mutual interest were discussed and both sides agreed to expand bilateral ties. It was also vowed on the occasion that experience sharing initiatives would be taken and expertise of both sides would mutually be utilized by launching joint projects.

Vadim Bogush thanked IIUI President for warm hospitality and lauded IIUI for its role through its 9 faculties, institutes and academies.

On the occasion, President IIUI briefed the delegation about the goals and vision of the university and told that the IIUI is keen to international linkages. The IIUI President told the delegates that university is playing its vital role in disseminating Islam’s message of peace and it has been taking meaningful steps in this regard by arranging international conferences, seminars and discussions.
