SITUATION VACANT
Applications are invited from qualified persons for the following positions on Temporary/Contract Basis:-

1. PROFESSOR
    Pay Package (Equivalent to that of TTS)

  1. Physics (Male)
  2. Electronics/Electrical Engineering (Male)
  3. Computer Science (Male & Female)
  4. Software Engineering (Male & Female)
  5. Environmental Science/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology

REQUIREMENTS ON TTS FOR ALL DISCIPLINES
i)   Ph.D from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field;
ii)  11-years post-Ph.D experience    OR
7 years post-Ph.D plus 12 years of experience before Ph.D
(3 years before Ph.D = one year post Ph.D in the relevant field) in a recognized university or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization;
iii)  15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted Journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the HEC

2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
    Pay Package (Equivalent to that of TTS)

  1. Physics (Male/Female)
  2. Mechanical Engineering (Male)
  3. Electronics/Electrical Engineering (Male/Female)
  4. Computer Science (Male & Female)
  5. Software Engineering (Male & Female)
  6. Environmental Science/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology

REQUIREMENTS ON TTS FOR ALL DISCIPLINES
 i)   Ph.D from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field;
ii)    6-years post-Ph.D experience   OR
       4 years post-Ph.D plus 6 years of professional experience before Ph.D
(3 years before Ph.D = one year post Ph.D in the relevant field) in a recognized university or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International Organization;
iii)   10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on TTS by the HEC.

NOTE:

  1. IIUI reserves the right to shortlist the candidates and to reject any/all applications without assigning any reason.
  2. Two sets of applications on the prescribed Application Form available on IIUI website www.iiu.edu.pk duly completed in all respect along-with attested copies of testimonials, experience certificates and NOC from the present employer (if any) are required.
  3. Applications along-with crossed Postal Order/Pay Order/Bank Draft for Rs.300/= in favor of Director (Finance) IIU be submitted in HR–V Section, Human Resource Department, Admin Block, International Islamic University, H-10 Campus, Islamabad. Incomplete or late received applications will not be entertained.
