The 71st meeting of the Investment Committee of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was held on Monday at the New Campus of the university. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, President of IIUI.
The session was attended by the members of the Investment Committee, including Prof. Dr. Abdul Rehman, Vice President (Administration & Finance), Dr. Abdul Rashid, Director General of IIIE, Mr. Muhammad Arif, Retired Joint Director of the State Bank of Pakistan, Noor Hussain, In-Charge Finance, and Junaid Shaffi, Assistant Director Finance.
The committee expressed satisfaction over the implementation of the decisions taken during the 70th meeting and formally approved the minutes of the previous session.
Discussions focused on the university’s future investment strategies. The Chairman of the Investment Committee was briefed on the financial plan for the upcoming fiscal year, and new proposals for potential investments were also reviewed during the meeting.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring efficient and effective utilization of university funds to promote sustainable growth and financial stability.
